Jamming
What a jamming field does to your radio, your messages and your GPS, and how to end it.
A jammer denies radio, data or GPS, or some of each. Inside a field: the voice net degrades, TAC//MSG sends go late or are refused, and the GPS loses its lock ("Jamming: GPS NONET - receiver has no lock"). You always still receive messages.
The JAM tile shows RADIO / DATA / GPS as OK, DEG or NONET and how jammed the spectrum is; the page keeps the recent alerts. The scanner needle points at the emitter.
G1GuideEnding it
A jammer site is a rugged terminal with an antenna and a dish. The terminal is the emitter: hack it (ISR) or destroy it and the denial is gone for good. LOCATE JAMMER from a hack plots sites.
Keying a powerful radio inside a field - burning through - can draw a reaction force.
